Heinrich Hoffmann is a German all around talent. He was a great medical practionar, he tried his best in the social political direction and wrote some shocking fairy tales like the Struwwelpeter.
On my stamp conzept you can see the three boys from the story "Die Geschichte von den schwarzen Buben".
I changed the objects that the youngsters hold in their hands. Instead of a banner, a hoop and a pretzel they hold characteristic objects from Heinrich Hoffmann. There is a symbol for medicine, the feather as symbol of his creative life and the German flag.
The German flag has existed since 1948, caused by a hot political movement, during which Heinrich Hoffmann was an active member.
